RECENT EVENTS

Sadly you've missed out on the below but here are a few of our recent events here in Pickwell. Please see the events archive page for some of our other past events.

On Saturday 1st July we held a music concert at Pickwell Manor. Headlining were The Almost Diamond Band, supported by Strung Together, featuring our very own Anton Mardel-Ferreira and the East Midlands Rock Choir.

The event was a great success with everyone who attended exclaiming what a wonderful time they had.

Luckily the weather was good and there was even some dancing and singing! Thank you to everyone who supported the event.

We look forward to the next one! Please see some pictures and video below.

Inaugural Cocktail Party
The villagers dressed up in their finery on Saturday 26th November for the inaugural cocktail party at the Village Hall.
Everyone looked splendid and the event was a huge success. 120 cocktails were made.....and consumed!
Definitely an event that will be hosted again no doubt.
A New Use for the Church
There was a new type of event held at All Saints Church Pickwell on Thursday 17th November. Monty's Travelling Music Show delighted us with a mixture of music from Prince to the Beatles and a sprinkling of his own and his band members songs too.
It was a fabulous evening, and a great use of the Church which was supported by the Pop up Pub at the Village Hall. We hope that Monty and his band will be back in Pickwell soon.
Music at the Village Hall
On Friday 28th October we had the pleasure of welcoming Clive Gregson to
our village hall. With support from John Montague and even a guest appearance from our own Anton Mardel-Ferreira on harmonica.

The evening was a great success with an an eclectic mix of pop, folk and rock and roll styles.
