PICKWELL VILLAGE HALL
Pickwell & Leesthorpe Village Hall is a charming space in the heart of our village that once housed the local school. Constructed from the village’s own ironstone it is now used as a meeting place and accessible venue for those in and around the area.
The Hall is a registered charity and funded by annual village events.
Pickwell & Leesthorpe Village Hall is available to hire and is perfectly suited to parties, meetings or community groups. The space seats 50 with adjacent kitchen facilities.

Pickwell Traditional Summer Fete
Every year in Pickwell we hold a Traditional Summer Fete in the beautiful grounds of Pickwell Manor.
The whole village gets involved in this fun filled day for all of the family, be it baking cakes, running stalls, organising games & raffles or simply just turning up to help sample the excellent selection of food and beverages on offer!

Bingo at the Village Hall
A fabulous evening was had by all in February when the Village Hall hosted a Pop-up-Pub night with the added excitement of Bingo!!. There were four winners in all sharing prizes from chocolates, prosecco and the top prize of a £25 Voucher for the Stag and Hounds at Burrough on the Hill.

VE Day 75th Anniversary
The people of Pickwell marked the anniversary with lots of small gatherings, socially distanced of course! The fizz was flowing as were the tea, cakes and sandwiches.
Unfortunately a late afternoon unexpected downpour occurred, but it didn't dampen the spirits. Video below.
